Status Update 12.12.11

Status update 12.12.11
Haven’t made a post for a while so though I would give a quick update on where we are with some projects:
Meanwhile in the 18th century: This project is causing allot of frustration at the moment.
It’s pretty much all done although unfortunately the last scene we need to shoot is an outside shot, & the last two Thursdays have been anus for weather.
This should finally be up Sunday (Weather permitting)
(Got some pictures to prove its coming bottom of the post)
Ask Rudi: The promo went up a week ago have had pretty good responses on facebook, not so good on Youtube.
Its gathering a little momentum so we have decided to put the follow up back a week (It will be done before Christmas!)
Rudi FOREVER: Really taken by surprise as to how well "the teaser" went total views stand at over 6000 already!
I don’t really understand why it’s been so popular but I’m defiantly not complaining.
The actual movie filming is going really well we’ve pretty much wrapped up the first act really happy with how the rushes have come out, I don’t really want to say much to give anything away but it’s going to be an action packed opening :) .
Not sure how much more filming we will get to do on this year, but in the new year this will be our soul focus!
NEW PROJECTS: Foolishly we’ve started looking at what we’re going to be doing next, a project I’m really keen on is our “Love Robots From Outer Space” saga, we have two episodes rerecorded (Audio).
I’m looking into how we’re going to animate it put up my First test “Roy Robot” check it out it’s not much but gives a idea of the art style we want to try.
The aim is to have live action running alongside animation, it’s a way off yet but stay tuned we will have further information on this soon.

Finally I’ve been asked a lot about the second part to “The Epilogue”
Well it is done (kinda) I just need one more shot, which involves my bed sheets I’m planning on changing them next week (Hopefully :P)
It is coming & hopefully will be worth the wait, there’s a nice musical number in there too!

Meanwhile in the 18th Century Pictures:

So that’s it for now I’ll properly be making another update at the end of the week.

Plan for week commencing 28th Nov:

This week we should have two new videos live, both new formats.

The 1st is a period drama pilot called “Meanwhile in the 18th Century”
Based on the response this will hopefully be the first of many (we have 10 episodes written).
Im estimating this should be live Sunday.

The 2nd is called “Ask Rudi” many people have been asking about this without wanting to give too much away I’m estimating this should be live anytime in the week, the footage is recorded & mostly edited so should be with us soon.

Stay tuned & don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE

Thanks Nick

Upload update 25.11.2011

This week we finally got round to uploading the 2nd part of our Halloween Special, its unfortunate that due to the length restrictions it couldn’t be uploaded in one part, but oh well.

I’m really happy with the outcome of this picture, mostly because the idea was conceived Monday before Halloween  written on the Tuesday (in lunch breaks) & then recorded in one go over the space of Wednesday night & Thursday day time.
It was a real test in time management & the first time we had experimented with different lighting.
I think given the time restrictions it turned out fantastic.
Check it out here:

Here’s also a picture of the pumpkin Rudi carved, its still going strong, we’re hoping it can make it to Christmas!
